Yoga & Mindful Movement

“You cannot do yoga, yoga is your natural state. What you can do are yoga postures, which will reveal to you where you are resisting your natural state.”

- Sharon Gannon

Our bodies were made to move. They’re incredibly intelligent, but our habitual patterns day after day can hinder our movement as well as the relationship we have to it and to sensation.

Yoga and somatic movement offer us pathways to release, explore and create, both on and off the mat. When I started these practices, I never thought working on grounding my feet in a warrior pose would translate to being a more stable human. But here I am… thankful for those cues!

As an ex-dancer, I love the freedom, variety and fluidity of yoga. I enjoy guiding self-enquiry through my classes, aiming to empower students to develop a closer relationship with their bodies, feelings and sensations. And there is always a dash of lightheartedness and softness thrown in for good measure, too.

Spacious & Slow

Integrated, nourishing Hatha/Vinyasa slow flows, spacious enough for deep exploration of the breath. The aim is to leave you feeling present in the moment and more aware of your body and it’s layers.
